Day 1: Time To Fly
Off we go. Take an overnight international flight from London to Nairobi.
Day 2: Arrival Nairobi and onward to Amboseli National Park
Met on arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by a representative and transferred to the Madaraka Express Train Terminus for your scheduled train ride to Emali Town departing at 08:20hrs to arrive at 09:50hrs.
You will be met by our Lodge Safari Driver Guide and drive to Amboseli National Park to arrive at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge in the late morning. Upon entry into the park, you will enjoy game viewing en-route to the lodge for check-in.
Lunch in the lodge followed by an afternoon at leisure to relax and soak-in magnificent views of the park from your room Veranda/Lounge or enjoy a swim in the lodge’s swimming pool.
16:00hrs Enjoy afternoon game-viewing drives in the park. Amboseli is one of the most popular destinations for safari-goers to Kenya, but it also offers some spectacular views of the highest free-standing mountain in the world - Mount Kilimanjaro.
Day 3 : Amboseli National Park
Full day in Amboseli National Park with morning and afternoon game viewing drives at 0630hrs and 16:00hrs respectively.
Elephant are a dominant presence in Amboseli; they are tracked almost constantly by researchers thus; the reason they have largely escaped the ravages of 1980s poaching. Here, you are able to spot some of the older “tuskers” lumbering almost delicately before the backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
This evening, you will be hosted to a “Bush Barbecue Dinner” with traditional Masai dancers.
All meals and overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge
Day 4: Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park
07:30hrs After an early breakfast, depart and enjoy a scenic drive to Tsavo West National Park traversing Masai Country side. Enjoy game viewing en-route to the lodge to arrive in the early afternoon.
After lunch relax by the pool side or at the terrace overlooking the lodge’s water hotel observing wildlife as they come to quench their thirst!
16:00hrs Depart for an afternoon game drive in the park returning to the lodge in time to refresh for dinner.
All meals and overnight at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge
Day 5: Tsavo West National Park
Full day in Tsavo with morning and afternoon game viewing drives at 06:30hrs and 16:00hrs respectively. The Park offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world with large herds of dusty-red elephants, hippopotamus, giant crocodiles, black rhinoceros and African buffalo's. The park includes also the lion, the cheetah, and leopard. The "big five" can be seen in Tsavo.

Day 6: Tsavo West to Mombasa
Breakfast in the lodge. 08:30hrs Transfer to Mtito Andei Train Terminus for the scheduled train to Mombasa departing at 11:20hrs to arrive Mombasa at 14:20hrs. On arrival at the Mombasa Train Terminus, you will be met by our representative and transfer to Serena Beach Resort & Spa where you have been booked on a half board basis (Bed, Breakfast and Dinner) for the next two nights.
Dinner and overnight at Serena Beach Resort & Spa. Fringed by white beaches, and shaded by coconut palms, the silver ribbon of the Swahili coastline offers the ultimate tropical paradise.
Day 7: Mombasa
Breakfast in the resort. A day at leisure in the resort to relax and indulge in the various optional activities available at the resort. At its heart lies the coral-built ‘Fortress of Tranquility' of the exquisite ‘Maisha' Mind, Body and Spirit Spa.
This evening, try out our renowned Seafood Restaurant, Jahazi Grill
Day 8: Mombasa to Nairobi
Early breakfast in the resort and transfer to Mombasa Railway terminus for Madaraka Express Train scheduled to Nairobi departing at 08:00hrs to arrive 13:45hrs. Met on arrival at the train terminus by a Serena Representative and driven to Nairobi Serena Hotel where you have been booked on a half board basis for the night.
15:00hrs Excursion to Daphne Sheldricks Elephant Orphanage. Born from one family’s passion for Kenya and its wilderness, the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is today the most successful orphan-elephant rescue and rehabilitation program in the world.
18:00hrs Return to the hotel to refresh for dinner at the Café Maghreb Restaurant
Day 9: Time to go home
Breakfast in the Hotel.
Later transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your home bound international flight.
