Classic Trips

We label a number of our trips as “classic” and are often asked what this means, which can be difficult to say as what many people deem to be a classic experience of a given country varies greatly from one person to another.

So, we use the label of “classic” to showcase the iconic experiences that each country has to offer and the trips are designed to be perfect for first times who don’t want to miss out on any of the key highlights. Whilst these routes very much follow the “beaten track” they can of course be adapted for allow you to enjoy unique experiences away from the masses along the way. But crucially, they act as a gateway to a huge variety of African destinations and are the building blocks for further adventures deep into the wilderness where some of the continent’s most unique experiences can be enjoyed.

As well as offering key experiences, classic trips are designed to showcase some of Africa’s most iconic and well-known properties. From historic hotels to modern classics and some of the most sought-after properties in the world, Africa is home to some of the world’s most famous hotels and these can all be incorporated into your adventure.
