Sandwiched between Zimbabwe to the South and Zambia to the North, the spectacular Victoria Falls are one of Zimbabwe’s most iconic areas and a superb start or end point to any trip to the country. At 108 metres high and 1708 metres wide, these are amongst the most impressive waterfalls in the world, especially when the flow is at its peak, usually between February and July each year. Further upstream the Zambezi National Park is small but really packs a punch when it comes to game viewing – ideal for visitors wanting to get a taste of safari before continuing their adventures in other national parks, or in combination with The Falls for those pushed for time.

The Falls themselves are a huge attraction and draw many people to Zimbabwe in their own right. Access is very easy thanks to the newly built airport terminal building and air access is improving month by month.
