Batonka Guest Lodge

Located within five kilometres of the stunning Victoria Falls, Batonka Guest Lodge offers guests tranquillity that comes from being outside of town, while also being in easy reach of the area’s main attractions. The lodge prides itself on providing friendly and personalised service, as well as being committed to keeping its carbon footprint as low as possible. Guests can either self drive or arrive via road transfer from Kasane or Victoria Falls Airport.

Both elegant and contemporary, the interior décor is a beautiful blend of African flavour and the area’s colonial past. There are 22 rooms in total, several of which have inter-connecting doors, meaning that they are suitable for families. Each room has an en-suite bathroom and air conditioning, as well as a veranda that opens out onto the lodge’s gardens. The main areas include both indoor and outdoor dining areas, a lounge and a swimming pool along with a gift shop and an activities desk.

Batonka Guest Lodge offers a huge range of activities, including adventure sports, river cruises and township tours. If you want to get your adrenaline flowing, try out activities such as bungee jumping or high wire adventures. There is also plenty of opportunity to go on safaris and river cruises, or take to the sky and fly over Victoria Falls in a helicopter. Batonka also offers you the opportunity see an amazing lunar rainbow, or moon bow when conditions are right. Victoria Falls is one of the few places on Earth where this phenomenon is known to occur.
