There's nothing better than seeing your holidays being mentioned in national newspapers and magazines. Even though we're a young business we've already had some great recognition from the national press. For us, this proves that we've got things right. We're creating wonderful holidays that grab the attention of those in the know!
Our specialist photographic safari in the Masai Mara featured in The Travel Magazine this month, a great week dedicated to capturing that perfect shot under the expert guidance of a renowned wildlife photographer.
The Travel Magazine asked us for our top recommendation for places to visit in 2019, and we chose the remote islands of Sao Tome & Principe, with their deserted beaches, Jurassic landscapes and unique wildlife.
Spectator Magazine wanted to find the perfect family safari holiday. They asked Far & Wild for our suggestion then ventured off on safari to El Karama, Kenya.
El Karama is a fantastic family safari holiday destination... but don't take our word for it. Read the article here, and find out some fun facts, and why warthog was their favourite animal!
The November BA High Life magazine focused on the great achievements of Bruno Hansen. We teamed up with British Airways to help organise travel for Bruno and his team to Durban to take part in the Adaptive Surfing Championships.
See how Bruno got on, and how we helped organise his trip to Durban in the article here.
In October The Daily Mail asked us if they could feature our Uganda & Rwanda "Game & Gorillas" as the best of their alternative destinations, within their inspired escapes for 2019 feature.
The Daily Mail loved the fact that we don't just do the traditional safari destinations, and that everything is tailor made, and made for each customer.
Far & Wild Travel's first mention in a national newspaper was in The Times. They wanted to feature a great Uganda and Rwanda gorilla holiday. In fact this one.
The Times loved the thought that went into the itinerary and have featured it on their own travel website. A great partnership which we hope will blossom in the months to come.
Far & Wild's first ever association with BA High Life Magazine happened within a month of Far & Wild Travel being created. There's a great article that showcases what Ben (Our director) get's up to in his spare time.
