The itinerary…
Day 1: Departure

A place to relax after your journey
Fly to Entebbe, the leafy suburb of Uganda's capital. On arrival you will be welcomed and transferred to the Karibu Guesthouse near the airport for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Entebbe - Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary - Murchison Falls NP

Murchison Falls One of the most powerful waterfalls in the world
After breakfast, you will be transferred by 4WD vehicle to the Murchison Falls National Park.
Roughly 3hrs into the journey, you will visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary which was established in 1997 by the Rhino Fund Uganda (RFU) to reintroduce White rhinoceros to Uganda. Its long-term aim is to build a sustainable rhino population and relocate rhinos back to their original habitat in Uganda’s protected areas.
After a couple of interesting hours, leave Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and travel to Murchison Falls National Park.

Day 3: Game drive and Boat trip & hike to the top of the falls!

River Nile Boat Trip
After breakfast, transfer across the River Nile onto the northern section of the park. The morning game drive exploring the Lake Albert Delta area, may reveal predators such as Lion and Leopard, and herbivores such as Rothchild’s giraffe, Elephant, Buffalo, Hippo, Warthog, Jacksons hartebeest and Uganda kob.
An afternoon boat trip on the Nile gives you the opportunity to explore the park from a different perspective. Here, you search for the animals and birds that inhabit this lush riverine area such as large pods of Hippo and huge Nile Crocodiles basking along the riverbanks, Elephant, Defassa waterbuck, and Cape buffalo.
Finally, you will be met by your driver/guide and 4x4 vehicle and transferred back to the lodge.
Day 4: Lake Albert delta boat trip!
Enjoy an early morning boat trip to the narrowing channels of the Lake Albert Delta on the River Nile. During the excursion, birding is very rewarding. Keep a lookout for the extraordinary Shoebill.
This afternoon, is yours to relax at leisure. Maybe you choose to enjoy a late afternoon game drive, or you relax at the wildlife from the lodge grounds.
Day 5: Murchison Falls NP - Kibale Forest NP

Kibale Forest Camp
This morning, you are met by your driver/guide and 4x4 vehicle and transferred southwest to Kibale Forest National Park. This evening, you can take a guided night walk in search of the forests’ nocturnal wildlife.
Check into Kibale Forest Lodge where you will stay for 2-Nights in an en-suite safari tent.
Day 6: Chimpanzee habituation!

Head off on your chimpanzee trek
Today, you have the rare opportunity of enjoying a full day ‘Chimpanzee Habituation Experience’ in Kibale Forest National Park. Departing the lodge at approx. 06:00, you accompany Kibale’s researchers during their activities in the forest, and learn about their work to habituate Chimpanzees. You follow the Chimpanzees throughout the day, a fascinating experience! Look out for various species of monkeys, and a wealth of birdlife.
Day 7: Kibale Forest NP - Rwenzori Mountains NP

Trekking in the foothills of Rwenzori Mountains
After breakfast, travel to the foothills of the Rwenzoris Mountains National Park (an approx. 2 1/2hr drive). This afternoon, you enjoy a gentle hike in the foothills of the Rwenzoris.
Check into the Equator Snow Lodge where you will stay for 1-Night in 1x Double Room on a Full-Board Basis.
Day 8: Rwenzori Mountains NP - Escarpment, Queen Elizabeth NP

Today, you head south to the Mweya sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park (an approx. 1 1/2hr drive) where you enjoy a game drive and, if lucky, you have opportunities to spot Elephant, Lion, Cape Buffalo, Defassa Waterbuck, Bushbuck and Ugandan Kob, as well as Hippopotamus, Warthog, Spotted Hyena, Side-Striped Jackal, and Banded Mongoose.

Day 9: Game drive and Kazinga Channel boat trip!
Take A Boat Trip On Kazinga Channel
This morning, you enjoy a game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, and go in search of the resident wildlife including Elephant, Lion, Cape Buffalo, Defassa Waterbuck, Bushbuck, Hippo, Warthog, and Ugandan Kob.
In the afternoon, enjoy a boat trip on the Kazinga Channel, a channel connecting Lakes Edward and George. The Kazinga Channel is home to one of the greatest concentration of Hippo in Africa. Birdlife is abundant.
Day 10: Escarpment, Queen Elizabeth NP - Ishasha, Southern Queen Elizabeth NP

Have A Bush Breakfast At Ishasha Wilderness Camp
Today, you head south to the remote Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park (an approx. 3hr drive). Here, you explore its many circuits, driving over the plains in the open savannah searching for large herds of Buffalo, Uganda Kob, Topi, tree-climbing Lions, and possible Leopard sightings.
Check into Ishasha Wilderness Camp where you will stay for 1-Night in 1x Double Tented Room on a Full-Board Basis.
Day 11: Ishasha, Southern Queen Elizabeth NP - Buhoma, Bwindi Impenetrable NP

This morning, you explore more of Ishasha in search of the tree-climbing Lions before heading southwest to the Buhoma section of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (an approx. 3hr drive).
Check into Buhoma Lodge where you will stay for 2-Nights in 1x Double Room on a Full-Board Basis.
Day 12: Gorilla tracking!

Head Of In Search Of Gorillas
After an early breakfast you will be taken to the park HQ for a briefing at 07h00 on conduct during gorilla tracking. You will then be allocated to a team of experienced ranger-guides who will take you into Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, to seek out one of the resident, habituated Gorilla groups.
Time taken to reach the Gorillas varies from as little as 45 minutes to a few hours in closed forest. Once the Gorillas are located, you will be allowed a maximum of one hour with them.
Day 13: Buhoma, Bwindi Impenetrable NP - Lake Mburo NP

Game Viewing Near Lake Mburo
This morning, you are transferred to Lake Mburo National Park (an approx. 7hr drive).
Time permitting, you enjoy a late afternoon game drive in the national park where you have chances of spotting cape buffalo, zebra, warthog, hippo, duiker, oribi, eland, topi, klipspringer, bushbuck, defassa waterbuck, bohor reedbuck, and hyena.
Finally, you settle down for the night at Rwakobo Rock Lodge where you will stay for 1-Night in 1x Double Room on a Full-Board Basis.
Day 14: Lake Mburo NP - Entebbe (EBB)
This morning, you enjoy a nature/bird walk in the national park. After lunch at the lodge, you are transferred back to Entebbe Airport (an approx. 5hr drive) in time to check-in for your overnight indirect international flight back to London Heathrow (or other selected UK airports).
Day 15: Arrival
Arrive back into London Heathrow (or selected other UK airports) by late-morning.
