This 12-day adventure begins with a flight to Kisoro, Uganda where you will spend 3 nights at the Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge. Here you will join an expert guide to track mountain gorillas, spending an incredible hour observing them in their natural habitat. Next, fly to Entebbe for an overnight stay at Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort & Spa before flying to Zanzibar. On the island of Pemba, you will unwind for 7 nights at the seafront Fundu Lagoon resort, soaking up the sun on white sand beaches and turquoise waters. Fundu Lagoon offers a peaceful setting to spot indigenous wildlife, explore the gardens, or dine beachfront with fresh seafood. The trip includes all transport by flight, road, and boat through lush forests, across the savannah plains, and along the Swahili Coast. Accommodations emphasize sustainability through conservation and community partnerships. With tracking magnificent gorillas, and then relaxing at an eco-friendly African lodge, this adventure blends breathtaking wildlife with a rejuvenating tropical escape. You'll return home with memories and photographs of rare encounters in Africa's incredible wild places.


Trip Itinerary

Day 1 Entebbe - Kisoro - Nkuringo, Bwindi Impenetrable NP

You are met and transferred back to Entebbe Airport in time to catch your domestic scheduled flight to Kisoro.

Upon arrival, you are met and transferred to Nkuringo (an approx. 1½hr drive) where you will stay 3-Nights at Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge in 1x Double Cottage on a Full-Board Basis. The rest of the day is yours spent enjoying the vistas and gentle walks around the local area.

Day 2 Gorilla tracking!

After breakfast, you are transferred to the park HQ for a 07h00 briefing on gorilla tracking. You will then be allocated to a team of experienced ranger-guides who will take you into Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, to seek out one of the resident, habituated Gorilla groups.

Time taken to reach the Gorillas varies from as little as 45 minutes to a few hours in closed forest. Once the Gorillas are located, you will be allowed a maximum of one hour with them.

Day 3 Nkuringo, Bwindi Impenetrable NP - Kisoro - Entebbe

Day 4 Off to Zanzibar

Day 5 - 10 Pemba, Zanzibar
