Enjoy relaxing in the pool, sleeping in comfy beds and a varied, tasty menu
This owner-run boutique guesthouse is in a former presidential residence on a leafy hillside in Entebbe, just ten minutes from the airport.
The seven spacious, airy rooms are individually decorated and have en-suite facilities. The king-sized beds have mosquito nets. Three lake-view rooms occupy the top level of the main house, so you can enjoy wonderful sunsets over Lake Victoria, while the ‘Bordeaux’ room is downstairs. More recently built, the three Garden rooms have wooden terraces, are open and airy with large, stone-tiled bathrooms.
There is a natural-looking pool in the lush, tropical garden. Food is good, including many dishes with a Mediterranean flavour. Dinner can be taken outside on the open terrace, lit with lanterns. Much of the guesthouse’s produce comes from its own organic garden.
