Low carbon scoring trips

Travel is changing, and we're thrilled about it.

Increasing sustainability is at the forefront of both our customer's minds and of our travel partners. Many of the lodges we work with are doing incredible sustainability initiatives, whether it is using green energy, projects which support the local community or ensuring wildlife is protected and able to flourish, and we want to celebrate and champion their efforts.

Our customers are also increasingly sustainability-minded, and are looking not just to choose eco accommodation, but to take part in activities with lower environmental impact activities and are becoming more conscious of their flight impact choosing fewer, but longer, long-haul holidays to really make those air-miles count.

At Far and Wild, we're dedicated to ensuring that each and every holiday we organise has a positive impact, and one of the ways we do this is through our world-first carbon scoring system which allows us to carbon score every tailor-made trip we create. We ask all our lodges and hotels to fill in our carbon scoring survey so that they have a unique carbon score and show them where they are doing a fantastic job, and where they have room to improve. Below are some of our favourite sustainable safaris and lodges.
