Day 4: Head south to Peninsula Valdes

Embark on the next leg of your Argentinean adventure as you take a short flight from the bustling metropolis of Buenos Aires to Trelew, a gateway to the natural wonders of Peninsula Valdes. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and transferred to the charming coastal town of Puerto Madryn.

Nestled on the shores of Golfo Nuevo in Northern Patagonia, Puerto Madryn is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers. Your accommodation, the Dazzler Hotel Puerto Madryn, stands as a beacon of comfort and sophistication, offering breathtaking views of the pristine coastline.

Day 5: Peninsula Valdes

Explore the extraordinary Protected Area Peninsula Valdés, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999. Our adventure begins with a one-hour drive to the Carlos Ameghino Visitor Centre where you will gain a deeper understanding of the unique ecosystems that make Peninsula Valdés a globally recognised treasure.

Continuing our journey, we'll arrive at the picturesque Estancia San Lorenzo, a traditional Patagonian sheep farm that also happens to be home to the world's largest Magellan penguin colony. Take in the charming ambiance of this historic estancia as you explore its grounds and enjoy a mouth watering Patagonian lamb BBQ for lunch. After savouring the flavours of Patagonia, we'll head to the phenomenal penguin rookery, just 4 miles from the farmhouse. Prepare to be enchanted as you witness these charismatic creatures in their natural habitat.

At the Punta Norte Wildlife Reserve, the wonders of the Southern Sea come to life. Depending on the time of year, we may have the incredible opportunity to observe Southern Sea lions, Southern Elephant seals, and, if we're particularly lucky, even Orcas. As we journey back to Puerto Madryn, keep your eyes peeled for encounters with the local wildlife that populates this rugged landscape. From guanacos and rheas to foxes, cavies, armadillos, and skunks, the journey promises glimpses of the diverse fauna that thrives in this unique corner of Patagonia.

Day 6: Iguazu Falls, Argentina

On arrival in Iguazu Falls, your guide will transfer you to the Mercure Iguazu Hotel Iru, your accommodation in Iguazu on the Argentinean side nestled within the Iraypu Jungle.

Following breakfast, depart the hotel towards the Iguazú National Park, situated approximately 20 km from the city. This remarkable destination has earned the prestigious status of being a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was recently honoured as one of the New 7 Wonders of the World.

The Upper Trail awaits offers a magnificent panoramic view of the Falls and the Iguazú River Delta. Immerse yourself in the native flora, listen to the melodies of local birds, and, if fortune smiles upon us, catch a glimpse of the famous caí monkeys or the bustling groups of coatis, known for their familial movements.

End the day with the Gran Aventura, a shared boat ride that promises an up-close encounter with the power and beauty of Iguazu Falls. This exciting excursion ensures you witness the falls from various perspectives, creating memories of this natural wonder that will last a lifetime.

Day 8: Iguazu Falls, Brazil & La Lorenza

Accompanied by a knowledgeable bird guide with binoculars and a telescope, take a captivating walk through the jungle and surrounding roads of La Lorenza in search of the area's most emblematic birds. La Lorenza boasts a remarkable bird diversity, with over 300 species recorded. Among the frequent sightings are the yellow-crested woodpecker, robust woodpecker, friendly orange dancer, territorial crested hummingbird, scarlet-breasted yacutoro, various species of fruit trees, tanagers, climbers, and more.

The Brazil National Park offers a half-day tour with a single walkway of 1,200 metres. Crossing the "Tancredo Neves" International Bridge into Brazil, you'll cover about 20 km (12 miles) to reach the Park's Visitors Centre. The walkway offers a stunning panoramic view of the Argentinian falls from a distance as you traverse the lush rainforest.

Day 9: Transfer to the Ibera Wetlands
