A harmonious mix of old-world charm and contemporary luxury

Nestled within the lush landscapes of the Iberá wetlands in northern Argentina, Puerto Valle Hotel de Esteros is a ranch-style lodge, offering immersive excursions into the wildlife-rich heart of this region.

Location
Tucked away on the quiet shores of the Paraná River, Hotel Puerto Valle offers a peaceful gateway to the Iberá Wetlands, one of Argentina’s richest natural treasures. We love the feeling of arriving somewhere truly off-grid, yet deeply comfortable. You’ll be surrounded by pristine lagoons, forest and wildlife, with monkeys in the trees and the gentle hum of nature all around.

Rooms
There are just thirteen rooms, each opening onto gardens or the water. There is plenty of space, with soft natural tones, wooden floors and large windows that draw in the light. Some have river views, others face the park’s peaceful canopy. Guests love waking to the sounds of the wetlands, then stepping straight outside with a morning coffee in hand.

Amenities
The riverside pool is a perfect spot to cool off after a day exploring. Inside, there’s a library and a welcoming lounge for quiet reading or a glass of wine by the fire.
Meals are fresh, seasonal and regionally inspired, with river fish, garden vegetables and slow-cooked local meats, beautifully prepared and served with care.

Activities

Guided boat trips, horseback rides, birding walks and kayaking adventures all begin from the doorstep. We love how flexible the activities are. Go at your own pace, with expert naturalists who bring the landscape to life. It's a brilliant place for photographers and nature lovers alike.

Sustainability
The hotel is proud to be Corrientes Province’s first Greener Hotels–certified lodge, reflecting its deep commitment to eco-conscious operations. Puerto Valle actively supports the Rewilding Iberá programme, a landmark initiative restoring jaguars, giant anteaters, red-and-green macaws and other native species to the region. Private access to Laguna Valle and guided wetland safaris - by boat, kayak, horseback or foot - offer an immersive yet gentle encounter with wildlife such as marsh and pampas deer, caiman, capybara, river otters, and over 350 bird species.
