Occupying an enviable location in a wildlife-rich private concession in the South-Eastern part of the Hwange National Park, Bomani is a real gem of a lodge and a particularly good choice for families looking to enjoy a safari in beautiful Zimbabwe.
There are 11 rooms of varying styles and layouts at the lodge, spread on either side of the spacious main area. We love the Spurwing Tents, not just for their comfort but also for the fact that they offer glorious views across to the lodge’s waterhole which draws wildlife from all around the area. All of the tents are very spacious and the family tent, with its two bedrooms and sprawling lounge area is able to accommodate up to 6 people. The main area is a large, open-fronted thatch building which houses the bar, lounge and dining area. A sparkling swimming pool with stunning views sits to one side of the main are and is the perfect spot to sit back, relax and soak up the sunshine, as well as enjoy some impromptu afternoon wildlife viewing. The food here is excellent and the staff will really go out of their way to ensure that your stay at Bomani is a memorable one.
Game drives are possible during the day and at night (being in a private concession has distinct advantages), whilst walks, afternoons in the game viewing hide and visits to local schools and villages are all possible from this wonderful lodge.
