Pestana Sao Tome City

The Portuguese Hotel Group Pestana offer this hotel on the waterfront not far from the central area of Sao Tome City. As with all these style hotels the rooms are clean and comfortable offering a good nights rest after a meal in the hotel restaurant - you could be anywhere! It tends to attract the international crowd who are wanting to stay in town but have a larger budget. The infinity pool that looks out over the bay is the highlight in my opinion. There is no beach but the pool is as close as you will get to the sea unless you walk around to the public beach. The staff are very accommodating and its a nice place to come for a drink in the evening if you are not staying.

There is talk of an upmarket condominium set to be built next door.
