Sable Alley opened in May 2017, and the 55-square metre tents are comfortable and stylish (and enormous!), with ensuite facilities and indoor and outdoor showers.
Enjoy sweeping views of the wildlife-dotted lagoon from each tent - this is world-class game viewing without leaving camp. The game viewing in the area around Sable Alley is fantastic, and you'll find lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo all in close proximity as well as a multi-coloured array of birdlife.
With a maximum of seven guests per vehicle and only three vehicles are allowed at any sighting meaning there's not an overcrowded game drive in sight. You can even have your own private safari vehicle should you wish.
There's an exciting range of activities to get stuck into, including day and evening game drives, game walks, viewing hides, and more.
Mokoro excursions
A mokoro trip immediately slows the pace down and allows you to gently cruise through the water channels amongst the lily pads. Please note that these activities are water level dependent.
The camp has a lovely communal dining area with a beautiful lounge, bar and a pool to relax in during the heat of the African day
Twin tented accommodation, maximum 2 adults all with en-suite bathrooms and outdoor showers. Each is on a raised deck with a private veranda.

Our Difference
The Far & Wild Community...
We think that the best people to talk about an experience are those directly linked to it. Our website and brochures let the ‘real experts’ show their stuff… local experts, travellers & industry insiders. Look out for the coloured markers all around the site... they mean that you are reading something contributed directly by a person from one of these different parts of the community we are part of.
The best memories aren’t simply places and hotels, they are made up of experiences and people… so we connect with local communities, and strive for sustainable travel to make your holiday special
