Nestled away on the banks of the Khwai River, in the Okavango Delta’s Khwai Concession, this charming little camp is shaded by groves of trees and is an idyllic spot for a few days’ safari in one of Botswana’s most iconic regions.
There are just 7 beautifully designed suites here, including a two-bedroom family suite, so it retains a very private and intimate feel, whilst being perennially popular and often full, meaning a lovely atmosphere prevails whenever you choose to stay. Daily activities on offer from Khwai Leadwood include morning, afternoon and night time game drives to see the areas varied wildlife, including lion, leopard, elephant and wild dog. They also offer guided walks with an armed ranger and, when water levels permit, mokoro canoe safaris along the channels of the gently flowing Khwai River.
