Nsolo Camp, part of Norman Carr Safaris, is a small camp located inside the South Luangwa National Park. The camp resides in an area dominated by mopane trees, overlooking a bend in the seasonal Lubi River. Walk to Nsolo Camp from the sister bushcamp, Luwi Camp.
The chalets are built on wooden decks with reed walls and thatched roofs, and contain twin or double beds and spacious en-suite open-air bathrooms. There is no electricity in the camp so solar lights are used in the evenings. The central bar and dining area is open to the surrounding bush with views of a watering hole. The camp has a very relaxed, easy-going feel to it, befitting a bare-foot luxury camp.
At Nsolo Camp you can expect to see an incredible array of wildlife with regular sightings of wild dogs, elephants and lions. The camp provides guided walking safaris and afternoon/evening game-drives. For even more adventure, Nsolo is the perfect camp for guests to experience a Sleepout; falling asleep around a camp fire, with just a mosquito net between you and the stars.
