Bilimungwe Bush Camp is a cosy camp located in the remote, southern part of the South Luangwa National Park, Zambia. The rustic camp is situated in a mahogany grove overlooking a series of waterholes near the Luangwa River and is open from May to December.
The accommodation consists of four raised thatched rooms which have been carefully designed to ensure comfort whilst retaining an authentic bush camp feel. Each chalet with magnificent views of one or two of the three watering holes. Two of the chalets have twin queen-sized beds and two have double king-sized beds. The en-suite showers are open-air, and each chalet has its own deck looking out over the beautiful landscape. The lounge and dining area is built on stilts around a large, old termite mound, under an ancient mahogany tree. Bilimungwe has a secret breakfast spot on the edge of Luangwa Valley, perfect to watch the sun rise over the Chindeni hills.
The game drives and walking safaris are led by the award-winning resident guide Manda Chisanga who will give you amazing sightings of the wildlife of the area.
