Our specialists say:

Explore the iconic Panorama Route with some wildlife viewing to finish......

Take a trip on the wild side, get off the beaten track and enjoy the views of the Panorama Route.

Start with a couple of days in Johannesburg. Its sprawling Soweto township was once home to Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu. Mandela’s former residence is now the Mandela House museum. Visit many of the sights including a tour of Soweto. Take a relaxing drive along the Panorama Route where you will see some fantastic views like the Blyde River Canyon, Three Rondovels, Mac Mac falls and Bourke’s Luck Potholes and so many more.

To round it off you spend the last few nights in a lodge just outside Kruger National Park where you can get a 'wildlife fix', here you have the choice of doing a self drive in Kruger or taking an escorted tour in the losges own safari vehicle and if you like a round of golf there are some lovely courses nearby.

The smooth tar roads are a welcome convenience, enabling you to enjoy a trouble free passage through the high-lying areas of the region.
