Seychelles and Kruger Honeymoon

Enjoy an overnight flight from London Heathrow to Mahe, the seaside airport of the Seychelles.

Land in to Mahe this morning where you will be met by our local partners and assisted with your immigration formalities before being transferred to the incredible Four Seasons Seychelles, one the leading resorts on the islands and a simply superb place to spend your time. Check-in and relax in the comfort of your room which provides stunning panoramic views of the surrounding hillside and the warm waters of the Indian Ocean way below. Kick back, relax and revel in this incredible start to married life!

One of the great beauties of spending your time in the Seychelles is that despite it being a wonderful place to relax and enjoy doing very little, there is also plenty to keep you occupied if you want to get out and about. Swimming in the ocean, paddleboarding, kayaking, snorkelling and scuba diving are all options here and, if you are looking to explore a little further afield then we can also arrange boat charters to surrounding islands with a delicious picnic lunch taken along, or you can catch one of the many ferries that operate between the islands of your own accord. Mahe is a charming little island, so why not hire a car for a day or two and get out to explore the little fishing villages, restaurants and beach bars that dot the coastline.

You will be collected early this morning for the transfer to Mahe airport and the morning Air Seychelles down to Johannesburg, landing in the early afternoon. Connect on to a flight to Kruger Mpumalanga airport, where a driver will be waiting to transfer you up to the stunning Leopard Hills in the Sabi Sand Wildtuin, one of the most iconic lodges in South Africa’s best wildlife area. Enjoy some time to relax this afternoon before dinner and drinks around the campfire, after which you will retire to bed in eager anticipation of the safari adventure that awaits you tomorrow.

Despite the early mornings and long, often hot days, there is something incredibly alluring about a safari that keeps people coming back for more. A pre-dawn wake up call, accompanied with coffee and biscuits of course, is the prelude to your morning safari, a magical time to be in the bush with the sun lending a golden hue to proceedings, predators returning from the hunt and prey noticeably relaxing as they know their foes will be sleeping for a few hours at least. Return to the lodge for lunch and then spend the afternoon relaxing in for comfort of your suite, taking in the views out across the bush, the odd ad-hoc animal sighting and cool off in your private plunge pool. Afternoon tea will be followed by an afternoon game drive which leads in to the evening, another wonderful time to explore as the big cats become active once more, whilst larger animals such as elephant and rhino take in the last of the afternoon sunshine.

Your journey home will be proceeded by a final morning game drive, after which a farewell breakfast will be enjoyed on the deck. It is then time to bid farewell to the bush before you are transferred to the nearby airstrip for a light aircraft flight to Johannesburg. You will be transferred to the international terminal to check-in for your overnight flight to London Heathrow.
