Madikwe Safari Lodge

Madikwe Safari Lodge is in a 75000-hectare malaria-free reserve in western South Africa near the Botswana border. The open views that will leave you breathless. Lelapa Lodge - Lelapa literally means ‘family’ - there is no restriction in terms of age or generation and they can host up to 24 people. You can expect warm hospitality, sublime comfort and a compelling charm which will make you want to stay forever. Each of the 12 suites has indoor and outdoor showers, a private plunge pool, wood-burning fireplace, a double bed (convertible to twins), air-conditioning, ceiling fan, bathroom en-suite, safe, mini bar, hairdryer and a range of deluxe amenities. Four of the rooms are Family Suites, and have a second bedroom with children’s bunk beds and sleeper couch.

Kopano Lodge - Kopano directly translated means ‘small gathering’. Each of the four suites are similar to those of Lelapa Lodge, each with a plunge pool! But, no children under 16 years can stay, unless the lodge is booked on an exclusive basis. Fine dining to the hoot of an owl, the roar of a lion or the crazed whoop of a hyena is the stuff that dreams are made of.

Dithaba Lodge - Dithaba means ‘mountain’ in the local dialect because it’s located slightly higher up and has a spectacular view over the open plains. Each of the four suites also have private plunge pool. This Lodge is well suited to a group of friends or family members making it their own while on safari. Or for those who simply prefer the sound of nature and little else.
