Little Vumbura is an intimate camp, situated in a private concession bordering the Moremi Game Reserve, in the extreme north of the Okavango Delta. The camp offers both land and water activities in a park that has a wonderful variety of habitats and a great diversity of wildlife.
There are six tents in total, including one family tent which accommodates four persons and one honeymoon suite with king size bed. Each of the large canvas tents are en-suite, fan cooled, and are provided with soaps, shampoo, towels and insect repellent. Each tent also has a private veranda with incredible views. A plunge pool and reading area overlook the floodplains and a star deck leads off over the water from the dining area.
Activities will include 50% game drives, 50% water activities (but can change depending on flood levels). Land based game drives in 4-wheel drive Land Rovers. Walks can be arranged on nearby islands on request. Water game viewing in mokoro (a traditional dug-out canoe) is exceptional and exciting. The lodge also has one power boat seating eight guests.
