A small group tour around Botswana finishing in the famous Victoria Falls
A unique wildlife experience spent in the Botswana wilderness. This classic itinerary offers a lodge and luxury camping combination safari. The lodges are beautiful, comfortable & make for a great adventure safari through the world famous parks.
Begin in Moremi Game Reserve (arguably one of the best wildlife viewing destinations in Africa), where you will explore the wildlife concession along the Khwai River. Leaving Moremi behind, travel north to the Savuti for more game drives along the Savuti channel. Departing from Savuti, venture further into Chobe National park, before leaving Botswana behind and ending your tour in Victoria Falls.

The itinerary…
Day 1: Adventure Time!
Fly overnight to Johannesburg.
2: The Tour begins - Maun
Land in the early morning, and you will then check into your late morning flight to Maun. Head from Maun airport to the Sedia Hotel, where you will the group over dinner at a local restaurant (own expense). Stay the night in a standard twin room with an ensuite.
Days 3-4: Okavango Delta
The Okavango Delta is a one-of-a-kind wilderness oasis situated within the harsh Kalahari Desert. Fed by rivers flowing from the Angolan highlands and seasonal rainfall, it forms a vast wetland paradise alive with ever-changing waterways, reed beds, islands, and floodplains. This delicate ecosystem expands and retracts with the seasons, supporting an abundance of wildlife. Visitors can expect to see hippos, elephants, lions, buffalo, the elusive Sitatunga antelope, and prolific birdlife. Truly an incredible destination for wildlife viewing. Your journey takes you by vehicle through small villages along the fringes of the flooding plains until we reach Etsha on the panhandle of the Okavango Delta. Here, your accommodation, Guma Lagoon, overlooks a tranquil lagoon. You'll enjoy a morning mokoro (dugout canoe) excursion through shallow channels as well as a sunset motorboat cruise, taking in the sites and sounds of this one-of-a-kind landscape.
Days 5-6: Moremi and Mababe
Moremi Game Reserve offers some of the best wildlife viewing opportunities across Africa. Its diverse landscapes, from grasslands to forests, provide habitats for a spectacular array of birds, making it a birdwatcher's paradise. Moremi is enveloped by vast stretches of wilderness, where wildlife roam freely. Our camp lies on a private concession bordering the eastern boundary of the reserve. Spend two days exploring the reserve and surrounding concession in open 4WD vehicles. Both areas teem with plentiful wildlife, with sightings of elephants, hippos, buffalos, lions and more. The neighboring Mababe River provides the perfect backdrop for observing the animals who gather at the water's edge. Between dynamic game drives within Moremi Game Reserve and private game viewing on concessions abutting the park, visitors delight in bountiful sightings of iconic African wildlife. Stay two nights at a serviced campsite, in a twin camp bed.
Days 7-8: Savuti
Head north from Moremi to the renowned Savuti section of the Chobe National Park.
Spend your time in the open plains and along the Savuti channel; This is an excellent area for big predators with frequent sightings of lion and leopard. Elephant and plains game are also abundant. You will stay in a meru serviced camp, in a twin tent with an en-suite toilet, listening to the sounds of the African bush.
Days 9-10: Chobe National Park
Your next destination is Chobe National Park. Leaving Savuti behind, you will head north through the remote wilderness of Botswana, to Chobe Safari Lodge in the small town of Kasane - on the banks of the Chobe River. The following day we head back into Chobe NP on a game drive in the early morning, before heading back to the comfort of the lodge during the heat of the day. In the afternoon enjoy a boat cruise along the Chobe River. Head into the park on a small game viewing boat and spend the next few hours until sunset floating slowly down stream while watching the wildlife come down to drink. During the boat trip you will get close to herds of elephants, and have amazing sightings of crocodile, hippo, fish eagle and many more.
Day 11: Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
Leave Botswana behind and cross into Zimbabwe on your way to Victoria Falls. Before checking into PheZulu Guest Lodge, explore Victoria Falls on foot, with a local guide who will share their knowledge of the ancient land which is surrounded by abundant birdlife.
Day 12: Victoria Falls - Tour ends
Spend the morning exploring Victoria Falls with a variety of optional activities, before checking into Victoria Falls airport and flying home overnight via Johannesburg, landing early the following morning.
