An intimate camp that prides itself on luxury and exclusivity
Located in the heart of the Okavango Delta (along with sister camp Duba Explorer Camp), the Duba Plain Camp has 77,000 acres of private reserve. The camp is only accessible by scheduled air transfers or private air charters. Once guests have landed at the airstrip, they will be met by a camp representative and driven to camp (a short seven-minute drive).
The Duba Plain Camp has five bespoke tents with a safari chic interior. The spacious tents are furnished with a lounge area and a stylish en-suite facility consisting of indoor and outdoor showers and luxurious bath. Each tent has its own private veranda and their own plunge pool where they can relax in tranquillity. The shared camp area has a large dining area, library and a comfortable lounge perfect for relaxing in the evening and sharing safari stories with other guests. Guests have the options of dining communally or in the privacy of their tents. The camps have an exclusive chef who cooks and prepares food to an exceptional standard and the camp boasts a large wine cellar.
Whilst staying at the Duba Plain Camp guests can experience extra exclusivity as game viewing is done in a private vehicle with a guide, private butler and chef. Due to the limited number of guests, it reduces the number of vehicles in the reserve making the viewing undisturbed. As well as seeing the incredible Big Five, the Duba Plains is known for having interesting Kalahari species like Aradwolf and Pangolins. Along with the daily game drive the camp also offers water-based activities dependent on water levels.
