Six traditional safari tents in the mists of the Delta
The Duba Explorers Camp is situated in the wet area of the Okavango Delta reserve close to the sister camp Duba Plains Camp. Nestled amongst a wooded area, the camp has beautiful views across the lagoon. Guests will arrive into camp by landing at the nearby airstrip (seven-minute drive away) and then be transfer to camp by a representative. The camp is made accessible by bridges over the surroundings waters.
The six traditional but luxuriously styled tents are built on a wooded island overlooking the lagoon, each tent is designed with a private veranda and en-suite facilities containing a flushing toilet, double vanities and indoor shower. The main area has an open dining concept which provides a beautiful backdrop for dinner.
The Duba Explorers Camp prides itself on the diverse wildlife and regular sightings. The camp's concession has over 74,000 acres of woodlands, floodplains and islands which provides homes to an abundance of wildlife making for very exciting game viewing. Not only does this camp offer the usual game drives, but due to the location of the camp they can provide boat safaris (weather permitted), along with walking safaris.
