Skybeds

Spend a night atop a beautiful treehouse overlooking a bountiful waterhole

A wonderfully romantic setting which allows to experience the open air of the African wilderness in all it's glory

Spend the night atop a beautiful treehouse, an ocean of stars above you and the sounds of the pristine Botswana wilderness echoing from below

A marvellous elevated deck experience in the heart of Botswana's Khwai Conservancy which is perched 5 meters off the ground with a double bed, surrounded by mosquito nets. Exclusively only available for guests staying at sister camps, Sable Alley or Hyena Pan.

Your transfer to the Skybeds will be a game drive experience, before settling in to your private, intimate setting overlooking a waterhole which is often frequented by 400 bull elephants, along with lion, leopard, eland, zebra, and more, making for some pretty outstanding game viewing, straight from your platform.

The Skybeds offer a totally unique safari experience; there are not many places in the world that you can sleep atop a five-metre high, wooden platform, with only a mozzie net between you and the stars.

With only three Skybeds, the camp accommodates just six guests making it one of the most intimate camps in Botswana. Each platform comes complete with a flush toilet, shower and basin under each sleeping area.

The Skybeds are completely safe, unique experience and offer excellent value for money.

Please note that there is no electricity at SkyBeds but with a vast ocean of stars above you, it is the perfect setting to relax, disconnect and appreciate the very special surroundings for the night.

Our Difference

The Far & Wild Community...

We think that the best people to talk about an experience are those directly linked to it. Our website and brochures let the ‘real experts’ show their stuff… local experts, travellers & industry insiders. Look out for the coloured markers all around the site... they mean that you are reading something contributed directly by a person from one of these different parts of the community we are part of.

The best memories aren’t simply places and hotels, they are made up of experiences and people… so we connect with local communities, and strive for sustainable travel to make your holiday special
