Zanzibar Beach Holidays

Beautiful coral reefs, powdery white sands and warm turquoise seas home to an array of marine life, all makes the coast of Zanzibar a very popular place to spend a holiday. At the northern tip of the island is Nungwi which is known as the dhow building capital of Zanzibar. On the west coast one of the best beaches is Mangapwani, but it is to the east where you will find some of the biggest and most beautiful white sandy beaches including Matemwe, Jambiani and Kiwengwa, to name but a few.

The weather in Zanzibar is as you would expect in a tropical climate, reaching into the 40's for most of the year. There are two rainy seasons, the longest of which lasts from around March to May, with the shorter one taking place between November and December.
