Kakuli Camp, part of Norman Carr Safaris, is located in the north of South Luangwa National Park. Kakuli is a seasonal bush camp on the confluence of the Luwi and Luangwa rivers with some of best game viewing and night-drive safaris in the region. It is the sister camp of Mchenja Camp.
The accommodation comprises five canvas tents each, one of which is a large family villa containing with a double room and triple room. All the tents have en-suite bathrooms and have been designed to be spacious and comfortable, with luxurious touches. There's a central thatched area with a small bar, dining table and comfortable sitting area.
Activities are centred around vehicle safaris, night game drives and walking safaris. Guests can decide each day if they want to venture out on foot or with the vehicle. This stretch of the Luangwa is fantastic for wildlife with amazing predator action during the first few hours of darkness.
