After a long flight, Sarova Panafric’s wonderful hospitality is very welcome
The Sarova Panafric is set in the Central Business District of Nairobi, about 18km from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and just over 5km from Wilson Airport. The Nairobi traffic can make the journey from the airport last a little longer than it should, but the Panafric is in one of the most easily accessible hotels in the city.
The 162 rooms that make up this six-storey hotel have been tastefully decorated with clean, contemporary features. The rooms are all air-conditioned and feature en-suite bathrooms, mini bars, TVs and wi-fi access. There are a variety of room types on offer, the majority of which are executive or superior rooms, as well as seven suites, 13 club rooms and two rooms with disability access. The Flame Tree restaurant and bar is well appointed and serves buffet breakfast and a la cart lunch and dinner. The Sarova Hotels are renowned for their excellent food and the Panafric can cater to any dietary requirements you may have.
There are gym facilities on site along with a swimming pool and spa. If you have time to venture out, excursions can easily be arranged with the hotel. During my visit, the key features that I experienced were: great views of the city, exceptionally friendly staff and very well-presented, clean rooms. The food lived up to their great reputation, with enough variety to cater to all palates. I would recommend this hotel to individuals, couples and groups/families looking for great value hotel in Kenya's capital city.
