Tucked away in the pleasantly forested suburb of Karen, the Karen Residence is located by an 18-hole golf course that prides itself on being one of the oldest courses in Kenya. The lodge is well located for people arriving into either Jomo Kenyatta international or the internal Wilson airport. The Karen residence is the perfect golf getaway, however once in Karen, there is much more on offer. It is an ideal base for visiting the Giraffe Centre and Elephant Orphanage.
There are three different types of accommodation for guests to choose from all with beautiful views overlooking the golf course. The spacious apartment sleeps two guests, the cottage room is slightly larger sleeping three guests. The third type of accommodation is the deluxe suite complete with luxurious furniture and a stone fireplace.
Nairobi’s central business district neighbours the Nairobi National Park, which is home to endangered rhinos, cheetahs, giraffes and many more. There is also over 400 species of birds. Guests can go on day trips to the national park and enjoy the picnic sites and walking trails.
