The Fairview is the only family-owned, family-run hotel in the 4 and 5-star hotel category in Nairobi. The hotel is set within 5 acres of beautiful gardens and located near the city centre, yet away from the hustle and bustle. This accommodation offers excellent amenities for business and leisure travellers alike. It is just outside Nairobi’s Central Business District.
The Fairview was acquired by the Szlapak family in 1946. At that time, the hotel had only 40 rooms. Since then, the hotel has grown to just over 100 rooms and, as a result, the hotel offers a wide range of room alternatives as well as a good range of facilities. The rooms are comfortable, with tea and coffee making facilities. There are numerous restaurants and bistros to choose from. The gym has a wonderful view of the swimming pool area and contains the latest equipment by LifeFitness.
Fairview Hotel is just two kilometres from the Nairobi National Museum and conveniently located for city attractions including the Giraffe Centre, Karen Blixen Museum, the National Museum, Nairobi National Park or Bomas of Kenya.
