Qorokwe Camp 5

Qorokwe Camp

A classic, luxury camp surrounded by abundant wildlife viewing in pristine Botswana

A blend of luxury eco-chic within a beautiful Okavango Delta setting

The name Qorokwe means “the place where the buffalo broke through the bush into the water" evoking the high-density game area in which this camp is situated. It owes its productivity to a mix of habitat types that lie between its western and eastern borders: the Santantadibe and Gomoti Channels respectively.

Qorokwe Camp combines a contemporary style with a classic bush feel. Its nine tented suites (including one very spacious family unit with its private plunge pool) are well shaded and catch the prevailing breeze. The whole camp, including the magnificent main area, overlooks a lagoon and its infinity pool is a focal point for the expansive views.

Wildlife viewing in the area is exceptional with large elephant herds and good concentrations of larger predators – lion, leopard, spotted hyaena, cheetah and wild dog are all regular features in this classic Okavango Delta setting

In addition to Qorokwe’s commitment to a light carbon footprint, including 100% solar-generated power, this camp plays an important role in the empowerment of local communities through job creation and other income-generating opportunities.
