The owners invested four years of dedication into creating this high-end boutique lodge in the charming Elqui Valley, with 24 well-appointed guest rooms The property spans 17 acres (6.8 hectares) near the Elqui River, featuring six outdoor hot tubs and a large indoor swimming pool.
The lodge’s design combines low, wide adobe walls to enclose spacious interiors, with pyramid-shaped rooftops made from local Totora, and natural stone embedded in walls and paths. The emphasis was on using local and natural materials. Inside, simple materials like wicker and wood are complemented by pastel colours.
Embracing the rich, fertile soil and Mediterranean climate, the owners created fruit-bearing orchards and diverse gardens full of native plants, harmonizing with the environment.
Casa Molle's location, with steep valley walls and minimal light pollution, offers extraordinary stargazing opportunities under the clearest night skies on Earth. The lodge also features its own amphitheatre, decorated with hand-woven blankets, sheepskins, ceramic stoneware, and lanterns, enhancing the natural ambience.
