Day 1: Departure
Karibu Guesthouse Seating Area
Fly to Entebbe, the leafy suburb of Uganda's capital. On arrival you will be welcomed and transferred to the Karibu Guesthouse near the airport for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Entebbe - Kisoro - Nkuringo, Bwindi Impenetrable NP
Wonderful views from the lodge
After an early breakfast, you are met and transferred back to Entebbe Airport in time to catch your domestic scheduled flight to Kisoro (approx. 07:00 - 08:10).
On arrival, you are met and transferred to Nkuringo (an approx. 1½hr drive) where you will stay 3-Nights at Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge in 1x Double Private Cottage on a Full-Board Basis. The rest of the day is yours spent enjoying the vistas and gentle walks around the local area.
Day 3: Gorilla tracking!
Head off in search for gorillas
After an early breakfast you will be taken to the park HQ for a briefing at 07h00 on conduct during gorilla tracking. You will then be allocated to a team of experienced ranger-guides who will take you into Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, to seek out one of the resident, habituated Gorilla groups.
Time taken to reach the Gorillas varies from as little as 45 minutes to a few hours in closed forest. Once the Gorillas are located, you will be allowed a maximum of one hour with them.
Day 4: Gorilla habituation!

Today, you have a very early breakfast and leave the lodge at 06:00 where you will set off for your once in a lifetime Gorilla Habituation Experience.
Once you reach the gorillas, enjoy 4hrs in the presence of this gorilla family group standing 6 meters away. After tracking, you will return to the lodge. This activity can take unto 10hrs of trekking, and it is important to note that this group of Gorillas is in the Habituation stage, and still wild.
Day 5: Nkuringo, Bwindi Impenetrable NP - Kisoro - Entebbe
Relax and watch the birds at Karibu Guesthouse
After an early breakfast, you are met and transferred back to Kisoro Airstrip (an approx. 1½hr drive) in time to catch your domestic scheduled flight back to Entebbe Airport (approx. 08:25 - 11:25).
On arrival, you are met and transferred back to the Karibu Guesthouse in Entebbe for lunch where you will relax for the rest of the afternoon. You have the opportunity of visiting the lovely Entebbe Botanical Gardens.
Finally, you are transferred the short distance back to Entebbe Airport in time to check-in for your overnight indirect international flight back to London Heathrow (or other selected UK airports).
Day 6: Arrival
Arrive back into London Heathrow (or selected other UK airports) by late-morning.
