Gombe Forest Lodge offers a private and personalised experience, accommodating only 14 guests at any one time. The forest setting just off the shores of Lake Tanganyika offers the best of both worlds. The cozy dining area, a short walk from the beach, has an extended outdoor deck and library, the perfect place to share Chimp stories with your fellow guests.
The seven safari tents are elegantly decorated and designed with comfort in mind. Raised up off the forest floor, the lodges are designed to minimize disturbance and impact on the stunning environment.
Tracking Chimpanzee’s in Gombe is an amazing experience, look out for nests, half eaten fruit and fresh dung and you know that you are almost there. After a morning spent watching the Chimps you can return to camp and relax on the beach, snorkel in the lake, or trek to one of the nearby waterfalls.
