At the Lake Shore Lodge you can enjoy your morning coffee perched on your own private beach, listening to the birds and the lapping of the water. The Lodge is accessible by plane, helicopter, boat, car or bike and however you get there you are sure to receive a warm welcome from the owners, whose motto is ‘Come as Guests – Leave as Friends’.
The 14 rooms are split into three different types. There is one beautiful Honeymoon suite – with a private beach and sunken bath - and several Beach Chalets and Lawn Bandas. All simply yet stylishly decorated, the main difference between the accommodation types is their location. If you want to be right on the beach then the chalets are just right.
Trips can be arranged to both Mahale Mountains & Katavi National Parks. Or why not try an overnight Kayak Safari, camping on remote beaches. Quad biking, fishing and scuba diving in the lake can also be arranged at the Lodge.
