La Bandada

Location:
La Bandada sits tucked into the heart of the Pampas, surrounded by open skies and the gentle rhythm of rural life. This former family estancia has been lovingly restored by honoring gaucho traditions, into a place where comfort, charm, and countryside calm come together beautifully.

Rooms:
There are just nine rooms here, each with its own personality – simple, elegant, and full of warmth. Expect vintage wooden furniture, colourful woven textiles, and windows that open onto wide lawns and grazing horses. Some rooms have cosy lofts or private terraces, perfect for reading or sipping wine at sunset.

Amenities:
The house is designed around relaxation. There’s a long veranda for morning coffee, a sparkling pool shaded by trees, and hammocks strung out across the lawn. Meals are a highlight, homemade and seasonal, often using vegetables and herbs grown on site. Inside, the living spaces invite conversation and lingering evenings with wine, while the firepit outside draws guests together under the stars.

Activities:
Horse riding is a way of life here, and you’re welcome to join the gauchos on a gentle ride across the pastures. You can also try your hand at traditional cooking, explore the land by bike or on foot, or simply do nothing at all – which many guests find is the most rewarding activity of all.

Sustainability:
La Bandada is quietly committed to living in harmony with the land. Water and energy use are carefully managed, most ingredients are grown on-site or sourced locally, and native trees and wildlife habitats are protected. There’s a strong sense of care here – for the place, the people, and the experience.
