Day 1 Welcome to Sri Lanka

We will be waiting to greet you on your arrival in Colombo. Meet your chauffeur guide who will be with you for your entire trip in Sri Lanka. We’ll drive you along to the south coast, where you will be taken to Sri Sharavi Beach Resort, your base for the next seven nights.

r drive from the airport will take 2.5 to 3.5 hours. After you check in to your hotel, freshen up and head to the beach to explore the incredible surrounds.

Days 2-6 Relax on the beach, or head out on day trips, it's up to you!

There’s so much to do in this region during your holiday that you're really quite spoiled for choice. From strolling along sun-drenched beaches, coconut in hand, to heading off on safari by land or by sea, there's something here for you.

We can arrange as many day trips as you like, and if you'd prefer some time to just kick back and relax on the beach, that's fine too.

Here are a few day trip suggestions:

Galle - explore the charming fort town of Galle where you can walk along the fortress walls up to the lighthouse, take a tuk tuk tour of the historical streets, and discover stories of spice trading before checking out the boutique shops and trendy restaurants.

River Boat Safari - take a ride through mangrove tunnels and wetlands for some wildlife and bird spotting on the River Madu.

Kosgoda Sea Turtle Conservation Project - visit the sea turtle sanctuary and learn about conservation of these gentle sea creatures.

Whale Watching - head out to sea at Mirissa to spot gigantic blue whales. There are several different boat options, or you can take a flight and see the action from above.

Safaris - both Yala and Udawalawe National Parks make great day trips from the southern coast, with elephants and leopards often spotted from the jeeps.

Deep Sea Fishing - a fun activity operated out of Bentota for both amateurs and enthusiasts alike.
