Set in Ranthambore National Park, Sher Bagh is a luxurious and sustainable tented camp inspired by safari encampments of the 1920s.
Sher Bagh tented camp comprises of 12 luxurious tents, but if you’re put off by the idea of camping then think again, as practically every need and facility is catered for at Sher Bagh. All the tents are furnished with rosewood and teak furniture alongside handcrafted decorations. Concerning cuisine, Sher Bagh caters for all tastes offering Anglo–Indian and European lunches, with traditional Indian dinners cooked on outdoor clay ovens. A romantic way to dine is in a secluded area under the canopy of the twinkling stars.
A must do experience is going on a game drive in search of the elusive tigers. As well as majestic wild cats, on your safari you may well see a multitude of animals such as wild boar, monkeys and antelope so ensure your camera is poised and ready to shoot. We recommend taking a walk around the local area and visit the Dastkar Ranthambore, an organisation that supports local women making beautiful handicrafts. After all your wildlife encounters, a trip to the spa is a necessity, lay underneath a canopy of ancient trees as you enjoy your treatment.
