Our experts say

Live the magic of the Indian desert countryside - take in the sights of Rajasthan while staying in rustic royal fort hotels in stunning locations

On a trip like this you get to see more of the real India, meet local communities, and stay in charming rustic heritage properties - many of which are former palaces and forts so you don't need to leave the luxury behind.

You still get to see many of Rajasthan’s best sites (and the Taj Mahal), but with a rural twist. And despite being “off-the-beaten-track”, this is also a good choice for first-time visitors to India, as it allows you some peace and space from the hectic cities. In fact, we think this is something everyone should do on their first trip to India.

Remember, this is just a suggested itinerary - your own holiday can be tailored to your preference of budget, duration, locations and experiences. Get in touch to have a chat about your trip.
