Nubra Valley

Ladakh - The Little Tibet

12 nights from £2,400pp (excl. international flights)

Delhi  – Leh  – Shey  – Stok  – Hemis  – Ule  – Nubra

Our experts say

Fly over the Himalayas to Ladakh, a stunning corner of India on the edge of the Tibetan plateau

Few places in the world are as ruggedly beautiful as Ladakh, and we have designed this holiday to cover some of the most magical parts of the region. There is a fair amount of driving, but a holiday in Ladakh is all about taking in the breath-taking scenery, and this is the way to do it. You can drive over the world’s highest roads, visit old Buddhist monasteries perched on improbable rocks, and ride camels on high-altitude sand dunes. Just don’t forget your camera.

Head to Ladakh in the summer months, when the weather is perfect and the rest of India is steaming under monsoon clouds. Or go against conventional wisdom and travel in winter, when the severe chill allows for an extra special and quiet experience.

Remember, this is just a suggested itinerary - your own holiday can be tailored to your preference of budget, duration, locations and experiences.
