This lovingly restored traditional townhouse in the bustling heart of Old Delhi is really the only option in the capital where you can get a good feel for the old city whilst still enjoying the comforts of a modern hotel. Thirteen rooms of various sizes are set around a central courtyard, with roof terraces giving glimpses of nearby monuments and the neighbours’ popular rooftop hobbies like kite flying and pigeon flying.
The Lakhori restaurant in the hotel brings Delhi’s famous street food into to the dining room – from chaats to kebabs to the rich Mughlai dishes which make old Delhi famous.
The Haveli is close to some of the best loved sites of Old Delhi, and makes a good base for exploring the sights and sounds of the area, such as the Red Fort, Chandni Chowk, Jama Masjid and numerous temples and markets.
