View Of Samode Palace

Samode Palace

A beautiful converted palace in the Rajasthan region.

Formerly the home of Indian Princes

Samode palace combines contemporary luxury with traditional architecture to create beautiful, authentic accommodation.

Once the luxurious abode of a Maharajah, and now a converted hotel, Samode Palace is a stunning property comprising of Indian and Moghul style architecture. At nearly 500 years old, this property possesses a lot of history and has played host to celebrities, royalty and travellers alike. As well as offering comfortable and luxurious accommodation to guests, this palace is also a sought after wedding venue. Samode palace is located in Samode village and is approximately one hour away from Jaipur by car.

The accommodation at Samode is a perfect blend of both modern and traditional features and each room is slightly different from the next. There are three different types of room available, Deluxe rooms, Deluxe Suites and Royal Suites. However, no matter which accommodation type you choose, all rooms contain comfortable four poster beds and beautiful, ornate sofas, along with elegant en-suite bathrooms. Royal suites also have their own private courtyards and jacuzzis. Main areas include two dining rooms, two swimming pools – one of which is an roof top infinity pool, a spa and lounge area.

There are lots of exciting activities in the surrounding area. You can walk into Samode village and explore the market and little shops. Going to see the bangle maker and gemstone expert shops should not be missed. Alternatively, you can embark on a guided horse or camel safari or visit the nearby sand dunes. Of course a visit to the historical pink city of Jaipur is a must. The palace has an on-site spa with experienced therapists where you can get a number of treatments. There is also a fitness centre and sauna.
