Diggi Palace is a slightly quirky heritage hotel in the heart of the old Pink City of Jaipur. Built over 150 years ago, the hotel describes itself as a “poem written in stone”. Diggi Palace is the venue for the Jaipur Literature Festival, a world-renowned celebration of South Asian and international authors.
The hotel has a range of rooms and suites each with its own character. You will see peacocks wandering the gardens.
Although not a luxury hotel, Diggi Palace with its location and traditional style makes for an authentic experience of Jaipur and is a good base for exploring the town. There is a good restaurant in the hotel and they offer classes in traditional Indian cooking to guests.
