Day 1: Take to the skies
Lodi Gardens in Delhi
Take the overnight flight from wherever you are to New Delhi.
Day 2: Welcome to India
Imperial Delhi Pool
Meet your driver at New Delhi airport and head to the Imperial in the centre of the city – it’s the 5 star hotel with the most quintessential character of Delhi, almost like a museum. Check in, freshen up and get ready for the upcoming adventure.
Day 3: Delhi
Humayun's Tomb
Enjoy a private tour of Delhi with your guide, visiting some of the city’s historical gems like the tomb of the emperor Humayun, and the medieval tower at the Qutab Minar.
Day 4: Agra & the Taj Mahal
Oberoi Amarvilas with the Taj in the background
Drive about 3½ hours to Agra and check into the spectacular Oberoi Amarvilas, ranked among the world’s best hotels, each room with a view of the Taj Mahal. Head out with your guide to explore the Red Fort and watch the Taj Mahal’s white marble change colour at sunset.
Day 5: Jaipur – the Pink City

Drive about 4 hours to Jaipur and check into Rambagh Palace, the grand former palace of the Maharaja of Jaipur.
Day 6: Explore Jaipur
Jaipur
Enjoy a private guided tour of Jaipur, including the stunning Amber Fort with its palace of mirrors, the City Palace and the Palace of Winds.
Day 7: Outside Jaipur
Dining room at Rambagh Palace
We will drive you out to enjoy the countryside – once away from the crowds you can do this either on jeeps or cycles depending on your preference. Visit villages and farms and interact with local people, and enjoy a traditional rural shikar picnic, in the way local royalty has for centuries.
Day 8: To Jodhpur
Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur
There’s a fairly long drive of about 6 hours today to transfer to the magnificent blue city of Jodhpur on the edge of the Thar desert. It’s worth it though, this place is stunning.
Check into the grand and utterly unique Umaid Bhawan Palace – the last great royal palace built in India before independence.
Day 9: Explore Jodhpur
Mehrangarh Fort looming over Jodhpur
Explore the blue city with your guide – the truly magnificent Mehrangarh Fort, the winding alleyways and markets.
Day 10: To Udaipur
The Oberoi Udaivilas
Drive about 5 hours to Udaipur – stopping on the way at the beautiful Jain temples at Ranakpur – and check into the Oberoi Udaivilas, often ranked as the best hotel in India and sometimes the world.
Day 11: Explore Udaipur
Udaipur, City of Lakes
Your guide will take you for a private tour of Udaipur, visiting the City Palace, gardens and temples.
Day 12: Udaipur - the Lake Palace
You will have seen the spectacular Lake Palace from every angle during your time in Udaipur, and now is your time to go and stay there. We will transfer you there by boat, and spend the rest of the day enjoying this wonderful hotel.
Day 13: Fly to Delhi & fly home
Check out of the Lake Palace and transfer to the airport to fly to Delhi, and then to the international terminal for your return flight home.
