Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge harmonies perfectly with the dramatic surroundings. As one of the largest hotels in the area the split level interiors of the main building offer an abundance of space so that you can still find a quiet and cosy corner to relax.
Decorated with examples of Africa’s artistic traditions, the 97 bedrooms range from doubles, to twins and connecting rooms are also available. Bedrooms include a glass viewing solarium so that you can really take advantage of those spectacular crater views. Due to the altitude of the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge it can get chilly at night, the hot water bottle turn down service is a lovely touch.
Half Board and full board packages are available, with food being served in the onsite Lemala Hill restaurant, with the floor to ceiling glass walls the view at dinner is stunning. You can spend your day relaxing by the pool or taking a half day or full day trip to the Ngorongoro crater. Due to the hotels location you start the game drive from the quieter side of the basin, allowing you a few hours with fewer vehicles around.
