The architecture of Sasaab follows strong Moroccan design principles, in which African heat is of primary consideration. Each of the nine Moroccan-styled rooms is over 100m² - large, airy rooms with four-poster beds, open-air bathrooms and private plunge pools creating an amazing experience. Sasaab also has a central swimming pool. All built into the hillside with a large veranda, brilliant for game viewing and bird watching from the comfort of your lodge. Its position on the river naturally facilitates watching the herds of elephant that come to bathe.
Spend time exploring the area on a game drive or taking in the remarkable views across the Laikipia Plateau toward the jagged peak of Mount Kenya. Camel rides can be arranged or for a special experience guests can spend a night or two fly camping under mosquito net tents in the wilderness.
