The itinerary…

Day 1: Chobe Elephant Wonderland

Arrive to Kasane and be transferred to Chobe Elephant Camp where you'll explore the Chobe Riverfront's spectacular wildlife in an open vehicle or boat.

Day 2: Victoria Falls

Take a full day trip tour of Victoria Falls!

Day 3-7: Mobile Khwai Safari

You’ll stay at a mobile safari camp in the Khwai Concession for 4 nights. Safari each day will open your eyes and ears to the sights and sounds of this vast landscape known for dramatic wildlife sightings.

Day 8: Young Explorers Safari Begins

After breakfast, be transferred back to Khwai airstrip to fly on Safari Air to Shinde airstrip in the Delta. The adventure begins as your guide gives you tips on how to spot game animals and birds in the wilderness. On arrival in your private tented camp, a refreshing drink and light lunch awaits. Over lunch your guide will brief you on safety, and then it is time to settle into camp, while planning your activities with your guide.

Your family has the use of the Footsteps Across the Delta Camp a private six-bedded camp, for 3 nights, with a professional guide, personal chef, waiter, housekeeper and dedicated Mokoro guides. It literally allows you to explore the bush at your leisure, while never losing sight of the fact that being in the wilderness is also about having fun!

Day 9: Bush Creativity

This is a full day of activities, including making bows and arrows, exploring the area and other camp craft activities.

Day 10: Bushman Skills

Take your “catch of the day” back to camp, learn how to prepare it and cook for dinner over an open fire.

Day 11: Wild Ceremony

In the morning, test your bush knowledge with a fun quiz and presentation ceremony to follow. On completion of the safari, children receive a Young Explorers certificate, t-shirt and cap.

Meet your driver to be transferred to Shinde airstrip for your Safari Air light aircraft flight from Shinde to Kanana. The flight is part of the adventure, watching the landscape below you change.

Be met on arrival by Kanana staff to be transferred to your family suite where you will stay for 2 nights on a fully inclusive basis.

Day 12: Moremi Bliss

Waking up in Kanana Camp you will spend the day in this hidden jewel on the Xudum River; Kanana is located in the southwest of the Okavango Delta.

The area encompasses a necklace of islands dotted with palms, figs, ebony and knobthorn, and is home to a myriad of birds, plants and animals.

Day 13: Fly to the Pans

After your last Kanana breakfast fly to Jack’s airstrip to stay for 2 nights at Camp Kalahari in a family tent on a fully inclusive basis.

Camp Kalahari is a unique, highly individual camp situated in the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, tucked away among the Mokolwane palms and acacia trees of Hyena Island. It is run by Ralph Bousfield, son of the well-known explorer Jack Bousfield, part of a long line of African adventurers!

Get unbelievably up close and personal with a gang of incredibly friendly habituated meerkats.

Day 14: Homeward Bound

After your last African breakfast (for now) fly back to Maun airport for your return flight home.
