Pioneer Camp is the ideal place to be if you need to be near Lusaka and is the last oasis stopover on the way to South Luangwa and Malawi.
The camp consists of eight miombo chalets, two safari chalets, two thatched safari tents, a beautiful two-bedroomed cottage and two pioneer chalets all set within our 25 acres of miombo woodland. All chalets offer stylish comfort with a feel that is totally in-keeping with your African safari. All miombo and safari chalets, have en-suite facilities, with private verandas and lovely woodland views. There is an incredibly relaxed feel to the whole property.
There is a small recreation area with a swimming pool. In the bar area there is a library with lots of travel books, wildlife books and novels and a curio shop which proudly stocks many items from across Zambia.
