Kati Kati is a mobile camp strategically situated in the centre of the Serengeti with its abundance of game. The camp offers comfortable accommodation in simple tents at one with the surrounding habitat and the unique opportunity to enjoy an authentic safari camp experience.
The accommodation consists of ten safari tents spreading out from the central mess area. The tents are large and have insect proof windows, comfortable beds with fresh linens and duvets and a private veranda that overlooks the Serengeti Plain. There is a cosy dining tent in the centre of the camp where meals are served, produced by their team of chefs. The campfire is ready every evening for appetizers and snacks before dinner.
Activities at Kati Kati Camp primarily revolve around game viewing, in particular the annual great migration and depending on the location of the camp at the time of your travel, you can be confident that you will be ideally located to maximise the experience.
There are two sister properties within the Serengeti - Ndutu Kati Kati and Mara Kati Kati - they are very similar in style and layout differing only in location. Ndutu is in the south of the Serengeti and perfectly located to see the herds of wildebeest giving returning from their trip north in around December. The Mara camp is right in the north of the Serenegti near the Kenya border and the Mara river. A great location to see the migration across the Mara River which is an incredible natural spectacle not to be missed.
