A slice of the Serengeti all to yourselves

The romantic wilderness of northern Tanzania is the perfect backdrop for the ultimate honeymoon safari

Want a honeymoon to really remember, with an adventurous twist and some of the most romantic experiences imaginable? Then read on, we have something rather special to share with you. This unique honeymoon will whisk you away to remote and secret corners of northern Tanzania, where you'll spend quality time together exploring the Serengeti on foot inside wilderness protection zones where few others are allowed. You'll be getting up close and personal with the landscape and its huge variety of inhabitants as you explore gentle rolling hills, vast grassland plains and hidden river valleys. Game drives on the floor of the iconic Ngorongoro Crater are also part of the adventure, and you'll love keeping an eye out for pools of hippos and vast swathes of pink flamingos, as well as the famous tree climbing lions in Lake Manyara National Park.

You'll be staying in a delightful mixture of comfortable bush camps and top notch stylish lodges, which offer the perfect honeymoon escape in this raw, untamed wilderness. Evenings in camp are all about sundowners on rocky granite outcrops (called kopjes), whilst watching as the sun sinks below the horizon, flooding the plains with reds, oranges and golds for a few precious moments. Then it's time for sumptuous candlelit dinners and campfire tales before turning in to sleep beneath the most incredible ceiling of stars, twinkling brightly far away from any sort of light pollution.

This Tanzania honeymoon is all about adventure and connecting with nature, without compromising on comfort or luxury. It's about bush breakfasts, new encounters and African sunsets. And it's one of the most romantic holidays you could ever imagine.
